First, hit simultanously CTRL
+ SHIFT + C (CMD + SHIFT + C for Mac version) to
bring the cheat window, then type in the Cheat window:
Use at your own risk, and
remember that some cheat codes can destroy your lot.

rosebud
|
gives you $1000 simoleons
|
|
rosebud;!;!;!;!;!
|
gives you extra $1000
simoleons for every ";!"
|
|
move_objects
[on/off]
|
allows you to move objects
even when they are in use
|
|
water_tool
|
allows you to put water
on your lot
|
|
grow_grass
[-100/100]
|
gives a green color to
the grass when it has been bulldozed.

|
interests
|
displays the interests
of the active Sim
|
|
autonomy
[1-100]

sets the autonomy level

There's some other cheat codes, but I've never
tried them, so I like better not to give them to you. You can

maid doesn't come any more; my Sims can't go to work./ I've deleted
the mailbox. What can I do? |
| If your sims don't receive any more visits, it's
most of the time because a "portal" problem: the mailbox
might have been deleted by mistake (haven't you heard that cheats
codes can be dangerous to use?). Thank to SimsPlus,you
can download for this site a new mailbox. |

have lost my serial code for the Sims. Could you give me yours? |

Ok, two suppositions:
- you haven't bought the game but use a copy. Ok... So, no,
there's nothing I can do for you. Go in the nearest shop and
buy the game, you'll get a serial number.
- you have really bought the game and did really lose your serial
number. Well, SimsPlus
explains you how to find it again, if you have registered on
Maxis site. If not, I'm afraid you will have to call Maxis,
and see with them what you can do.

| Will
the Sims kids become adults? |
In the original Sims game, no. Your Sims have
a baby, after 3 days the baby becomes a child but the child doesn't
gorw up anymore.
But you can use some 3rd-party programs that will allow your Sims
kids to grow up, like SimLifeCycle.
And please, don't ask me anything about these programs because
they only work on Windows and I have a Mac, so I can't try them. |

| I don't
understand what my Sims say... Why?! |
| People have different languages, depending on
where they live. This is also true for virtual people: the Sims
speak their own language, the simmish. So don't worry if you can't
understand them! =) |
